River Wriggle 'ford' viewed from the east (shallow) end looking downstream.
This is a nice UCR that runs through the river for about 80 metres, and is very pretty in spring and summer. But beware that the water at the west end can become nearly 4ft deep after heavy rain (it has been over the bonnet of Julian's Suzuki before) and there is a concrete 'step' up onto the road which is nearly 2ft high on the left hand side making it tricky to get out, and it is under the water so go slowly as you approach the west end exit. A snorkel is advisable unless the water is low.
